As Opus Yachting, we offer services covering the technical, mechanical, and aesthetic needs of all types of private or commercial watercraft including gulets, motor yachts, trawlers, and sailing yachts to keep them in top condition and preserve their value just as they are on the first day.

General Maintenance Services
We make the maintenance process easier for you by providing access to the marina or dry dock where your vessel is located. Contact us for your maintenance or repair needs, and let’s plan the process together.

Refitting and Renovation Services
Refitting and renovation services are a detailed process that extends the life of your yacht, enhances its safety, and completely revitalizes its comfort. Depending on your specific needs and the overall condition of your yacht, the work can be either partial or complete.

Mechanical and Engine Maintenance
Engine reconditioning or a complete engine replacement is provided.
Oil and filter changes/cleaning are carried out as needed.
The shaft, housing, shaft seal, and propeller are inspected, and replacements are made as needed.
Valves and piping fittings are inspected and replaced as needed.

Plumbing Work
The plumbing systems of gulets and yachts (fresh water, wastewater, sewage, and seawater intakes) are among the most critical areas requiring maintenance, as they are constantly exposed to saltwater and moisture.

Seawater Valves and Fitting Replacement: Worn-out brass or brass alloy valves are removed. They are replaced with bronze or corrosion-resistant composite valves that are fully resistant to seawater.
Wastewater and Gray Water System Replacement: Standard PVC or spiral hoses are removed. They are replaced with odorless marine wastewater hoses that are impermeable to gases (odor-barrier hoses).
Fresh Water Plumbing and Pressure Pipe Lines: Old copper, galvanized, or aged plastic pipes that have become a breeding ground for bacteria are removed. Flexible, high-pressure and heat-resistant PEX or pressure-rated food-grade (FDA-approved) marine hoses/pipes are installed.
Bilge and Emergency Pumps:
The capacities of bilge pumps (GPH—gallons per hour) are checked. Automatic float switches and manual override panels are replaced.
Leak and Pressure Testing: Fresh water lines are tested using pressure from the booster pump, while wastewater lines are tested for leaks to identify hidden leaks.
Odor and Scaling Inspection: The wastewater (black/gray water) hoses are inspected to determine whether they are emitting odors and to assess the level of scaling (calcification).
Hull Valves: The seawater intake and discharge valves are inspected for signs of corrosion.

Electrical and Electronic System Maintenance and Repair
Worn-out, oxidized cables are replaced with marine-grade (tinned) cables.
The battery bank (AGM or lithium) and charging systems (inverter, rectifier, solar panels) are upgraded.
If navigation devices are present (chart plotter, radio, autopilot, radar), they are integrated with next-generation systems.

*You should add an allowance for unexpected costs of 15–20% to the budget you’ve set aside for yacht maintenance and repairs.
*For gulets, fiberglass yachts, and motor yachts, procedures and fees may vary depending on the type of vessel, as hull configurations, line lengths, and gray water management can differ.
